California Auctioneer Bonds

The Auctioneer Bond is required for all auctioneers. If you function as an Auctioneer and as an Auction Company, you should purchase two separate bonds, otherwise one bond is sufficient.

To apply for a California Auctioneer Bond, download the form provided and follow the instructions below.  The bond and application must read exactly how you will be registered with the State of California.

NOTE: The Auctioneer Bond has a $20,000 penalty amount, and is a two year bond term, as required by the State of California.  If approved, the premium is $350.00 for the two years.
