A $5,000 Tax Preparer Bond is required by the State of California Tax Education Council (CTEC) to protect the general public from negligence on the part of the tax preparer. To apply for a Tax Preparer Bond, download the application form below to apply.
The low premiums for the Tax Preparers Bonds are as follows:
1 Year Premium – $45
2 Year Premium – $55
3 Year Premium – $70
4 Year Premium – $80
